Regular Programs

•  Beginners A Spanish Lessons

No knowledge of Spanish language at all.  First Spanish experience in a Spanish country.

In this course: students are taught the basics in Spanish communication and the goal it is to make them be able to interact in common life situations.

• Beginners B Spanish Lessons

Students have a minimal knowledge of the Spanish Language.

In this course students develop the capacity to express ideas in the past, present and future tenses. Students will also improve their writing and reading comprehension skills.

• Conversant Spanish Lessons

Students can communicate and express ideas in Spanish. They have a basic knowledge of grammar tenses: present, past and future. They want to improve their vocabulary and be more confident communicating with people.

In this course students are taught to communicate in diverse topics. The goal of the program it is to make conversation with Spanish speakers be fluent. Students will be able to read simple books and write essays in Spanish.

• Advance Spanish Level

Students have a fluent management of Spanish language but they want to improve their skills and eliminate common errors in speaking and writing.

In this course: They will immerse in the Latin culture through the language and social activities (optional) Students will have more Listening Comprehension activities and will review advance grammar tenses like Subjunctive and Perfect Tenses. Reading Comprehension exercises will be focused on actualized social Latin problems and essays. Teachers will use different materials like radio programs, TV shows, etc. in order to develop a better comprehension of the Mexican reality and way of life.

Specific Vocabulary Programs

• Medical Spanish – for health care professionals

Regular Spanish immersion programs are combined with medical-specific vocabulary.  The program includes learning interview skills about how to complete a patient interview:

History of the present illness

Family, social and past medical histories.

Review of systems

Symptoms and Diagnostics, etc.

Students will also practicerole plays with different clinic cases.  

Students will gradually become more confident in taking complete patient interviews under a doctor’s supervision.

The goal of the program is to give an insight on the Mexican Culture through a medical approach so that students can understand and communicate in a better way with Latin patients.

• Building a house – living in Mexico

Every year more and more people are coming to Mexico to live or stay for a  long term. They own or buy land to construct their houses or business places. This program is focus on vocabulary used in this process.

This program can be combined with any of the above in order to give students a complete approach to the language and Mexican life style.

• Travel Spanish – for tourists

Traveling vocabulary is complemented with a grammar focus program.

Students will learn useful vocabulary for many different traveling situations.

Combine Regular Programs with Specific Vocabulary Programs

Students can combine any of the courses above depending on their specific interests.

Combine Individual Lessons with Group Lessons

Students can combine Individual lessons with Group lessons of closely matched students. This combined program gives the opportunity of advancing in their own level as well as learning by the interaction with other people.

Individual Classes: Students have a one on one class with the teacher. Programs are set between the teacher and the student, depending on the student interests.  Classes last 1 hour and a half.

Group Classes: Class size never exceeds 6 students, which provides an ideal learning atmosphere. The smaller the group is, the faster and more effective the courses are.

Programs are set by the School, and students can combine different group classes with individual lessons to build up the program that suits them better.
